Here's a little update on my microstock earnings:

Overall January was surprisingly good across the board.

Here's a breakdown of my microstock total earnings for January with Shutterstock still giving me more than 50% of my total earnings:

Shutterstock
Footage sales are going up, 2D renderings - pretty average month, but I uploaded only a handful of images lately and the Shutterstock beast needs to be fed regularly. ;)

Fotolia
Best month ever. Big surprise taking into account it's January. Unfortunately Fotolia reduced their rates once again and despite making it to 'Silver' I am getting 31% :| Fortunately prices were also adjusted.
here's a comparison

Dreamstime
The only site that underperformed in January. Also a record 5 days without sales. Hope it will pick up soon

StockXpert
Basically the site is slowly going down and I doubt I will be getting the kind of earnings I used to get a year ago. Still January was my best month since September '09. What's even a bigger surprise that I never ceased to receive downloads from Jupiterimages and they are about 50% of my Stock Xpert earnings.

IStockphoto
Best month ever, almost doubled my previous BME! Not sure what changed, but keep it up iStock :)

Footage
Pond5- slow month. 60% of my 6-month average.
Shutterstock - very good month for footage, my BME.
Few sales also on Revostock, Fotolia and iStockphoto.

One day after I wrote this it was announced that StockXpert will be shut down. Thanks a lot Getty!

Pity they are going to be closed. I started uploading my images there just recently and sales started to look promising. – Comparable to Dreamstime, or Fotolia.

I think that you should ask your credits (that you earned as seller) to be transferred to you by contacting support at StockXpert. I did it this way, but unfortunately haven’t received answer yet. But I remain optimistic.

There are a couple of threads on their forum about getting the last final payment and as far as I remember you should send an e-mail to support.

For some reason I keep getting sales on SXP.

Finally I received answer from SX saying that requesting final payment will also mean deletion of my account. They also told me that if I will keep my account my images can be transferred (in few weeks) to ThinkStock and I can earn money thorough ThinkStock. So I changed my mind and decided to keep my SX account.

that's the case as far as I was able to tell.
Unfortunately my images still weren't transfered. I hope that this new Thinkstock will be doing better than Veer.

I don't really understand why did they kill a site that was bringing them a nice profit and want to start something new. :?
